Child Rescue projects are carried out based on the needs of the children involved, such as preventing children in
poor countries from being exploited by sex tourism, or providing drop-in shelters and food for street children.
Currently there are about 15 projects around the world rescuing children in need, mostly in urban areas in Asia.
Each project typically lasts from two to four years.
World Vision is a Public Benevolent Institution and operates two funds which have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office.
